The Spotty Snout was born in New York, inspired by Teddy - my red-coated Cavapoo, constant sidekick, and the sweet little face you’ll see throughout this site.

I started the brand because I wanted dogwear that felt worthy of him: thoughtfully designed, considered in quality, and with a distinct point of view. When I couldn’t find pieces that reflected my own sense of style, I decided to create them myself.

The Spotty Snout is shaped by a mix of things I’ve always loved - New England prep, British country style influenced by my years in the UK, an appreciation for thoughtful design, and the slower, everyday moments I share with Teddy.

Creating each collection involves plenty of trial and error: developing prints, comparing fabrics, refining samples and tweaking the smallest details until everything feels just right. The result is a mix of playful prints, tailored classics and beautifully considered pieces that feel like a natural extension of your own wardrobe - just scaled down for your favorite four-legged companion.

Everything is designed in New York and made in small batches, with close attention to comfort, fit and detail. From merino wool sweaters and quilted jackets to bow ties and bandanas, each piece is meant to feel elevated, playful and distinctly our own.

After all, if you’re going to walk together, you might as well both look the part.
